Hand Painted Night Stand

This little night stand was picked up at a yard sale it was all cedar but the top was like part laminate so couldn't sand that down and refinish it. So I decide to paint it white and do the drawer in a different color and hand paint some stuff around it. Here is the before

As you can tell it had a lot of scratches and dings in it and just wasn't to pretty anymore, so I painted all of it in white and painted the drawer in gray and I used chalk to trace out my design then used yellow and painted it around the drawer then I made white wax to tone done the yellow to make it more muted. 

I lightly distressed it then waxed it all and left the drawer pull original.
