Cane back chair

Today I am gonna share with y'all a before and after of one my favorite chairs. Cane back chairs are some of my all time favorite chairs! Not only are they gorgeous but they are comfortable and look great in many styles. Okay I will stop making you wait now.

Has Beautiful curved arms and legs and the color of the wood was great but had some imperfections and horrible seat covering. Now to the after ......

Isn't it beautiful! Painted it in Annie Sloan, Old Ochre. Heavily distressed in places and covered with clear wax, and the seat was covered in a burlap coffee sack, was one of my favorites and of course sold pretty much the day I posted it. Hated to see it go but glad it has a good home! After I finished that one I am always searching for good priced cane back chairs!

Forgive me for the horrible quality of pictures. Learned my lesson never take pictures in direct sunlight!... Oh and can you believe I only paid 5 dollars for that chair, what a steal that was!
