So this desk I recently gave a makeover wasn't to old so its reproduction french provincial like desk, still very pretty and had the not so shiny gold pulls on it which I am not a gold fan but these were pretty.So here is how she started......
The white and gold wasn't working for me it just not my kind of look. So I painted it in a dark grey color and sanded it lightly and let some of the gold parts show through and left the knobs all the same. Here is how she came out.
Turned out so pretty and so happens I used just about the same grey color on the chair so now it matches pretty well if someone wanted them together!
