Paisley chair

We found this chair at a thrift store, it had great bones and was really sturdy except for the seat as it about had it. so this is what it started like

Im not a fan of the fabric on the seat, all I saved from the seat was the foam and the board to trace for a new wooden seat . I then painted the chair in Annie Sloan old white and heavily distressed the chair. And the fabric I picked for the chair was actually found at Wal-Mart. After it was sanded all I did was wipe it down and used the Annie Sloan clear wax and here is how it turned out

I love how the chair turned out and think it could go with many different decors now. What do y'all think?
