Christmas signs

Last week I found some wood that was just laying around that was a perfect size to make some Christmas signs to sell in the booth. I don't have any before pictures of the wood but it was rough and needed a little sanding.

Here is the first one I did

I started out by sanding this one a little then used gesso for the white to just get a smooth finish that was good to paint on. Then I traced some stencil letters I had cause I couldn't find enough for each word then hand painted each letter and drew out the holly leaves and berries, and I free handed the trees. I love how the sign turned out and its perfect if you live out on a farm or just want something unique for your home.

The other one is just a simple Merry Christmas one with some holly leaves on each side

I used just simple gesso for each of the white and craft paint for the main letters and a mixture of antiquing gel and wax over each one to give it a antique look.

What do y'all think? Would you want one in your home?
